Guest guest
Is it possible that, if you unplug the TV, the TV dinners may also disappear? :) I understand about the crunch, I went through that, too, for awhile. How about some carrot, celery, a crunchy vegetable??? Would that work for you as a replacement for awhile? Might at least be worth an experiment or two. Or, take a vegetable peeler and peel the outer layer from a broccoli stem, try the stem. I used to enjoy it a great deal. Jicama is crunchy, as are Doritos, tortilla chips, ... oh, wrong script! :) Guess I'm in a bit of a goofy mood, Elchanan Debbie [aromatic_wings] Sunday, March 20, 2005 8:20 PM rawfood [Raw Food] Re: INHS - Fruit : Friend or Foe article? For me.... I sometimes need the crunch.. Most of the fruits I eat are soft and squishy..My crunch from fruit would be an apple but I guess the fat in the nuts help to satisfy more... doesn't take much anymore. Used to be ... I could sit down and eat 2 cups or more.. now I maybe will eat a handful. Especially now since I have been watching when and how I eat. Told hubby today that he is my reason I do not eat right...lol Seems when he gets home that is when I go off plan... Although he has started eating better himself so now when he asks what do we have to munch on? I will hand him an apple or orange or banana or offer a fruit salad, juice or green smoothie..Still can't get him away from the TV dinners..grrrrrrr rawfood , " Froggy " <seconaphim> wrote: .........<snip> And > there's something weird about crunching hard nuts, I think I rely on > them more emotionally than needing them physically, but then again, I > don't know if I'll ever really feel a need or desire to give up raw > nuts. > >
