Guest guest
Eat enough food to sustain your body a little above its present size. Would you be willing to share your present height and weight? Regarding the softer stool, as you increase your fruit consumption, the extra fiber and water enable your system to release stored gunk in your colon, and it goes more or less as is. As you continue to release cooked food this will moderate over time, depending upon your past etc. Also, it's a bit difficult to respond in more detail because you haven't actually described what you are eating. " 50/50 " means nothing, because you probably do not know how to compute such a ratio, few people do. it would be much more constructive and easier to respond if you are willing to provide additional information. For example, a bag of raw flax crackers with guacamole is quite different from 12 oranges, which is again quite different from 6 bananas and 3 pears. Seriously though, I have some bowel issues that maybe someone can explain to me. Right now I'm about 50/50 raw/dead foods. But I notice that when I eat " dead " my stool is smoother and more solid, whereas when I eat raw it is a lot looser. Also, I'm *very* underweight. Part of the attraction to raw foods was that it would help to regulate my weight, but I haven't gained a pound. Admittedly, part of this is probably due to my eating habits. I rarely eat breakfast or lunch, and tend to eat dinner at night. While I'm working on changing the habits, does anyone have any RF advice for gaining weight? Ok. Since yesterday here's what I ate: 3/20 1:00 - " scrambled " tofu, potatoes and cornbread w/ some ketchup 3:30 - banana 5:00 - nori sheet, topped with tomato-basil pate (Rainbow Green), some sesame seeds and nutritional yeast - dehydrated (Raw Gourmet). 9:15 - apple, 2 carrots, 2 celery stalks, 1/3 head broccoli dipped in " Sunny Pate " (Raw Gourmet) 3/21 7:00 - banana 12:30 - apple That's it. What's my prognosis? Peace, Mike
