The building, originally constructed in 1887, was fabricated from clear, all-heart redwood and is considered one of the finest buildings north of San Francisco. The Living Light Center will also contain Living Light To Go, a deli offering organic raw vegan cuisine, juices and smoothies; Living Light Marketplace, a retail store featuring products for healthy living; and Living Light Events, offering event planning and catering, chef placement services, and healthy retreats in exotic locations. Living Light is dedicated to sharing knowledge about the organic, vegan, raw-food diet with people who are interested in living a healthier, more conscious lifestyle. Students travel from all over the US, Europe, Asia, Australia, South America and other areas of the world to learn how to prepare this exciting new cuisine that offers delicious flavor, weight management, and youthful vitality.
