Guest guest
Very simple and fun. Alissa uses the food processor a lot. Just throw the ingredients in and spread 'em out. Sometimes dehydrate. I just made my own pie recipe up...(not a dehydrate recipe) using a take off on her blueberry pie crust. Crust: 2 cups pecans, 1/2 C dates in processor...spread out in pie plate. In processor I used 3 1/2 chopped apples with peels, some coconut cream from Tropical Traditions, dash vanilla, some mesquite meal, a couple of TBS psyllium, dash lemon juice, one frozen banana. Add things until it's not too thin. That's the filling...sprinkle some coconut on top. Refrigerate if you don't eat it first. Diana of Dewberry Hill (I can't wait to make a dewberry pie this summer) I read the whole book thru, including all of the recipes, and to me the recipes looked easy to make but I haven't made any of then, yet. I never have all the ingredients to put them together and I am not good at putting in substitutes, yet. I would like to see how she makes them on the DVD that she has put out.
