Guest guest
Fredrik, The feeling you described after eating garlic sounds so much like how I felt after eating wheat recently. I hadn't had any significant amount of wheat in at least one or two months (except for trace amounts of nama shoyu, which contains wheat). After 3 months raw, I ate a seitan reuben sandwich (two pieces of bread, seitan " wheat meat, " canned sauerkraut, vegan cheese). My first reaction upon tasting it was that it tasted completely dead--which it was. Eating raw sure changes your sense of taste! Not long after eating the sandwich, I got a heavy fog-like feeling in my head that didn't go away for 24 hours. I felt like I couldn't think clearly that whole time! I had always suspected that I could have a sensitivity to wheat, but eating that sandwich proved it. To think that my whole life I may have been going around in that fog but didn't realize it! All the best, Jennifer _____ Fredrik Murman [fpm] Thursday, February 24, 2005 9:28 AM rawfood [Raw Food] Re: Salt I bought garlic and cooked it according to instructions, and I felt completely out of balance afterwards. I felt slow and had a strange feeling in my head - like I was insane, and I didn't sleep normally. It took me days to get over it.
