Guest guest
Oh! Do you suppose those seeds we get at the health food store could be old and the oils in the hulls a bit rancid, making the milk bitter? I shall check out places to get them fresher. And thanks for that link (I've ordered their catalog), BTW...black sesame seeds? Wow! How do they comapare in taste? Blessings, Diana of Dewberry Hill i too thought that sesame milk was terribly terribly bitter when i first made some. > I have made a lot of both white and black sesame seed milk. None of it has ever been bitter. It actually has somewhat of a light smoked taste (like liquid smoke) to us making it a great base for soups. Maybe your source of seeds is not good. I always get mine from http://livingtreecommunity.com Search presents - Jib Jab's 'Second Term'
