Guest guest Posted January 12, 2005 Report Share Posted January 12, 2005 Yes it is Valerie, and sorrell: http://www.dietobio.com/dossiers/en/cereals/buckwheat.html the raw groats are fine to sprout for a day or two after soaking several hours (and are wonderful in the food processor with other ingredients as a dehydrated burger mix)...but the sprouted buckwheat lettuce has a possible toxic.
