<<<<Tev: Knowledge or imaginative speculation? I remain skeptical. Sounds

like another marketing package to me.>>>>

It's just a book of many out there. You take what you want and leave the

rest from any books you read. His impressed me because he was selling

nothing and gave a lot of good home tests one could do theirselves.

<<<TEV: This sort of apologetic is predictable. Anger is an appropriate

response for me when confronting snake-oil salesmen or women and other

charlatans.(Throw the money-changers out of my temple!)>>>>

Too bad, you must be angry most of the time!

<<<<TEV: I think it is important too, that people report their

investigations. However, it appears to me that such reports are being coined

in the language of fact. All " ideas " or " introspections " are not facts.>>>>

Most " fact " is what we want to believe. What is fact to one person, is not

necessarilly fact to another.

<<<< nutritional science, and such information may influence people and

their lives, shouldn't there be accountability?>>>>

The accountability lies within ourselves as this is true in all areas of our

lives. Just because we come to the conclusion of something doesn't mean

that it is truth either, only our perception of truth.

<<<TEV: I applaud his devotion, good intentions, and his good-work ethic.

What " seemed to work " and the ideas of " expansion and contraction " that he

has packaged them into, seems dubious to me.>>>>

You seem to be quite a critic of this man. Have you ever read his book?

<<<< Nutritional science is already complex. Do Dr. Morter's " findings "

simplify Nutri-sci or make it more complex and confused?>>>

I read his book a fews years back and found it to be written in simple

laymans terms. It didn't confuse me at all.

<<<TEV: Clinical experience? Yeah, so...what is that? That tells me nothing.

There are lots of SAD doctors and dentists with clinical experience.

As to literary research, so what. I can do that

myself. I don't need to buy another book. Too many opinions about

nutritional science that aren't based on biochemical facts.>>>

You are right, it can get mighty confusing.

TEV: TEV's test: Does the food serve to keep my body healthy and to keep me

feeling good? If it does great. If not, out it goes. I don't need to confuse

my body with " expansions and contractions " . Since my " body has an innate

ability to keep itself in tune via 'proper' nutrition " already, why do I

need the ambiguous information about " expansion and contraction " ?>>>>

I'd say you don't. It sounds like you are happy where you are at, but I

don't recall that I said this information that I offered to share was

written in stone either. I am of the nature to keep improving myself. I

don't like being stagnant, I like moving ahead. I am in the process of

purchasing a microscope because I don't want to just read or hear what goes

on by eating raw foods, I want to know. The blood, urine, saliva tell a lot

about ones condition. I want to see if the white count really goes up after

eating cooked. I want to see how it affects yeast, candida, fungus, good

fats, bad fats, enzymes and etc. I guess you could say I want to see the

unseen.

TEV: I understand. The same concepts impressed me

as nonsense. BTW, he is selling his book, yes?

> Too bad, you must be angry most of the time!

TEV: This is hardly helpful to the raw food

discussion. My comment on Dr. Morter is a valid

expression of my skepticism. If anger is included,

towards those who lie and deceive others, that's what

it is. Nothing more.

TEV: 2 + 2 = 4 whether I believe it or not. Your

statement about " fact " is simply not reasonable or

true.

TEV: And yet we are a society of laws and peer reviews

aren't we? Even in the scientific community, works are

examined and tested. Accountability is brought upon

those who knowingly mislead or deceive. It is true

that we hold ourselves accountable; and we also hold

others accountable for what they say and do and teach.

> You seem to be quite a critic of this man. Have you

TEV: A valid question. There are an awful lot of books

out there. I do not have time to read everyone. I can

eliminate potential " reads " by such basic information

as indicated by the " expansion and contraction "

concept. As I stated, it strikes me as nonsense. It

doesn't make it to the pile of books by my bed.

OK.

TEV: What a great statement. I perfect ending to the

discussion. I too want to see the unseen. May your

wish come true.
