Guest guest
Hi Rich, Yes, I agree! Eating raw is so much simpler, in so many ways. I never have to clean up greasy pans, or tons of dishes and utensils (unless I decide to make a fancy raw recipe, which is rarely). I believe it is better for the environment, as I am not consuming an abundance of over-packaged and processed products. And of course, the most important thing for me is that I am not contributing to the pain, suffering and death of my beloved animal friends. I am sorry that you don't really enjoy fruits and vegetables yet, Rich. I hope that it will come soon for you! I am lucky that I have always loved fresh produce, so transitioning to a raw lifestyle was pretty easy for me. I have to say that I am so blessed to not have cravings for SAD food at all. When I first became vegan several years ago, I really missed cheese, but got over it quickly, as I discovered so many other wonderful things to eat. Also, when I went gluten-free, I desperately missed my whole grain breads. But I have gotten over that, too, and have been living quite nicely without it for a few years now. I try to think of it as what are the things I CAN eat and enjoy, rather than what I CAN'T, and which isn't in my best health and spiritual interests anyway. Wishing you, and everyone, the best of health! Christine
Guest guest
It is so much better for the environment. I sort of enjoy them (fr. and vg.), it's getting there. Cheese would probably be the first thing I would go for if I wasn't raw, definite addiction, breads would probably be second, more addiction. The things I can eat don't excite me at all, I can have them anytime, guilt free. The things I can't eat are frustrating because I can never have them. The two categories, raw and cooked are worlds apart in my eating psyche. The one is good, the other is just for emotional change. Love, light, happiness, peace, joy, comfort, righteousness, truth, beauty, goodness, sanctitude, wholeness, perfection, joy and understanding, Rich rawfood , Christine Pelton <cattzeye77@p...> wrote: > > Hi Rich, > > Yes, I agree!
