Guest guest
From www.sadtoraw.com posted these, and they are truly sensational. I make them every time I need to be bad. Anyone want to try these? Carob Bark 1 c. raw coconut oil 3/4 c. raw carob (or cocoa) 2 t. vanilla flavor 1 c. raisins, raw nuts, coconut, or whatever you want Put the coconut oil in a bowl, Put this bowl in another bowl of hot water. When it's melted, stir in the carob to make it smooth, then stir in the other stuff. Spread on wax paper lined cookie sheet, put in fridge or freezer 5-10 minutes to make it hard. Break into pieces Try experimenting with peppermint or other flavors instead of vanilla. Michelle (SADTORAW) makes this for Boni all the time now --- my ingredients are coconut oil, carob, vanilla, honey, coconut and whole nuts (pecans, almonds, walnuts). Depending on the quantity of the various ingredients, you can make it like a candy bar, a chocolate turtle or a nut cluster. __________________- Carob Almond Balls 1 c. sunflower seeds 1 c. raisins 2 T. raw honey 2 T. carob powder 1 c. almond butter 1/2 c. sesame seeds (optional) This makes it taste like a Nestle Crunch Bar! In food processor, chop all seeds and nuts. Add remainder of ingredients to make a smooth thick paste. Roll into 1 inch balls and then roll in finely shredded coconut . Put in fridge to harden. (Makes two dozen) Trail Mix Balls 1 c. Raw Trail Mix (brazil nuts, almonds, pecans, sunflower seeds, walnuts. raisins, unsweetened coconut flakes). Blend in food processor till mixed and chopped well. Then add: 1 c. raisins, 1/2 c. honey, 1 c. sunflower seeds, 1/2 c. sesame seeds Process until well mixed and chopped. Roll into balls and roll in shredded coconut. Put in fridge to harden. Bet you can't eat one!!! Sasha
Guest guest
Now from a perfectionist standpoint, I would look at a statement like that and want to resolve it to not needing to be bad, and my food choices would change accordingly. It's statements like that and those kinds of thoughts that while mostly harmless are also the tip of the iceberg of my spiritual malady. And I want to remove that iceberg of impurity pushing on the holiness of my mind. Rich rawfood , " Essentially Sasha " <sasha@9...> wrote: > I > make them every time I need to be bad.
