Guest guest
We need to write to this newspaper telling them they are wrong!!! http://www.santacruzsentinel.com/archive/2004/December/29/style/stories/03styl e.htm Here's a quote from this article plus a list. I boldfaced and highlighted the offending parts: What it means to eat right is a question with enough answers to keep the cookbook industry cooking for a long time. According to Stefanie Berntson at Bookshop Santa Cruz, nobody’s buying the raw food cookbooks these days. Instead all those raw ingredients are going into our slow cookers, where, nutritionists are saying, the vitamins and minerals are made more accessible to our bodies. Guest guest
I don't think it's that big of a deal bc it's just one of those trendy end-of-the-year, in-out lists that ultimately mean nothing, and are supposed to serve as entertainment. It's not like they're spreading any falsities about the raw food diet. And realistically, for many people, eating raw will always be perceived as a weird, fringe thing and I'll also bet that a lot of people who try it approached it as some faddish cure-all. So for them it is " out, " and they'll move onto the next food fad.
