Guest guest
Opened last Sunday Located in the 85x block of Market /4th Street Right front of the Powell Station BART. They are open during mall hours. Closed every day at 9pm, except Sunday which is a bit earlier. They are located in the basement food court. The restaurant is literally across from the Bistro Burger stall. They are literally doing business head to head against them. I wonder does Loving Hut have to smell the beef and hot dogs from other stalls that might permeate across the room. Loving Hut has these high tech computer monitors non-stop flashing and , displaying “go Green , Go Veg” *sigh* I think it’s a joke that the Burger Bistro is just 30 feet from Vegan Loving Hut. It seems like every restaurant in the mall is heavy on the meat. Real Thai and Japanese people don’t really eat that much meat. When I was there on a Thursday night at 7pm, The Thai place was giving samples of their deep fried chicken dish and a Steakhouse was giving out chunks of beef steak. Due to high rent, prices for food in this court yard is not cheap. This loving hut, 2 items with rice (yes they have brown rice) is around $8.xx. I saw the portions, yes, they fill up your takeout containers. Golden Era and Loving Hut-Westfield Mall has vegan desserts no one else has. Golden Era make their own almond cake. The New Loving Hut has a cake that was made in a Los Angeles Bakery winnie signature: see you at: www.newlivingexpo.com http://sundaystreetssf.com/ May 23, June 20, July 11, Aug 22, Sept 19, Oct 24 I'll be doing all 9 of them in the city
