Guest guest
http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cgi?f=/c/a/2010/05/06/DD6B1D99FQ.DTL another thing they don't mention is " no msg " which is a tough request for prepared Chinese and Asian foods. when I go out to eat, I do as much research as I can on the restaurant before I go there. I want to make sure I have something to eat. I've been turned away from restaurants that say " sorry we do not have any veggie dishes for you " . Also, I don't have to have my friend sit thru all my " questions " at the restaurant. (I met a vegan guy that took 10 minutes to ask all his questions. It was a pain for his wife to go thru this whenever they went out to eat. By the way, they broke up) Lastly, I recommend, giving a bigger tip if they went out of their way. And I thank you with a smile. Better yet, go support a vegan/veg restaurant. winnie We know we always cant' if we have to socialize or have a business meeting. I noticed for big hotels like the Marriot, they will give you vegan meals like: pasta with veggies. Or rice with Veggies for your meal. At times they look better than my neighbor's dead " steak " sitting right next to me. winnie
