Guest guest
If you haven't heard by now, the San Francisco Board of Supervisors signed a VegDay Resolution declaring Mondays meat free! The Resolution was presented by the San Francisco Vegetarian Society and In Defense of Animals. I want to personally thank Dixie Mahy of SFVS for all her hard work getting this passed. I was on the O'Riely Factor (Yikes!) on Wednesday talking about it. You can check out the interview here: / So I would love to see this really utilized and promoted! I have folks reaching out to restaurants and asking them to participate. Amici's Pizza is offering 10% off any vegan pizza on Mondays. You just have to mention the SF Resolution! Spread the word. If anyone would like to work with Dixie and I on getting this into the SF school cafeterias, let me know!
