Guest guest
Hi, everyone, I thought you might be interested in a work of fiction that takes a creative approach in highlighting many of the animal issues often discussed in this very forum. The story is written by a local vegan author, Shad Clark, and the cover illustration is done by a vegetarian artist, Patrick M. Reid. Story description: An anomaly is born at Animal Pharm. Bred to be the perfect organ donor, all of Ziggy's human parts are supposed to be on the inside. But his creators are horrified and intrigued to discover his distinctly human hands and feet. What other human traits might he possess? Ziggy's value as a unique specimen saves him from imminent destruction, and the little boy pig becomes the unknowing subject of an experiment. He's raised as a " normal " child in a house with no mirrors. There in the care of his doting nanny, he lives life to its fullest. Delighting in every discovery—until he sees himself for what he is. Convinced that only a mother could love such a creature, he embarks upon the pursuit of her heart. Full Disclosure - The author is my husband, but he's an excellent writer, and I'm not biased at all. ;-)
