Guest guest
I generally stay clear of debates, but this particular string has been rather irritating. I have seen two factual descriptions of people's experiences at Planet Raw (one from Tammy and Chris - negative, and one from someone else that was positive). The rest have been opinions, opinions of opinions and judgements of opinions being right or wrong. I'm sure people that plan to boycott will do so if they feel like it and people that believe any vegan restaurant deserves our undying gratitude and support will spend their $$ at this establishment. Those in the latter category please feel free to organize a dinner or multiple dinner events so this restaurant gets support, and more reviews get posted to the guide, to undo the "damage" that has been done by one negative review. Hopefully when a group of 10 people are dining the chef won't decide to walk out that day. Mila

I agree with Mila, 100%! The best way to help Planet Raw is for all the people who support it to walk the talk, and get more people to dine there -- one way to do that is to organize an event there. I hope Contra Costa residents who are passionate about Planet Raw or about having veg restaurants in Contra Costa will take the lead and find ways to support the restaurant. Nice to see my post, which is the first one ever about the restaurant on this list, sparked a positive response. Now, with my list admin hat on: we are asking folks to take any further discussion of Planet Raw and their customer (dis)service practices, or opinions of opinions, as sparked by my original email, off-list between any who wish to continue discussing it.
