Hi friends,For those of you who are parents or teens, you may be starting to think about plans for the summer. Please check out and pass along Youth Empowered Action Camp, a vegan summer camp for youth interested in activism and social change. YEA Camp!Youth Empowered Action Camp (YEA!) is an innovative summer camp for young people ages 11 to 15

who want to make a difference in the world.  YEA builds knowledge, skills, confidence, and community to prepare young people to be inspired and effective changemakers. Youth will learn valuable communications, leadership, and campaign

skills during this six-day camp in the Santa Cruz mountains, and will leave

camp having chosen an issue of importance to them, having created a thoughtful plan of action, and with a supportive community of peers and mentors to help make it happen.

 

What: Youth Empowered Action Summer Camp

When: overnight Session 1: from July 25-30, 2010 OR Session 2: July 31-August 5, 2010

Where: Ben Lomond, Calif., just outside Santa Cruz
