Guest guest Posted February 9, 2010 Report Share Posted February 9, 2010 Hi Everyone, Just a reminder that the 3rd SF Vegan Bakesale is happening this Saturday February 13th from 11-4 in front of Ike's (at 16th and Sanchez)! The last two bakesales went so well (read: we made almost $7,000 for Give Me Shelter Cat Rescue, Food Empowerment Project, and Save A Bunny) that we’re doing it again! Third time's a charm, so come on out and help us make this the best SF vegan bakesale yet!!! Over 50 bakers will be bringing delicious sweet and savory baked goods- think cupcakes, cookies, foccacia, brownies, muffins, pecan pie, croissants, and SO much more! We'll even have gluten-free and raw treats there too! All proceeds from this sale will go to two awesome non-profits: Harvest Home Sanctuary (http://www.HarvestHomeAnimal.org/ - an amazing farm animal sanctuary in Stockton that's home to over 100 rescued animals), and Cycles of Change (http://www.CyclesOfChange.org/ - a great organization that provides bicycles and bike education to disadvantaged adults and youth.) Plus, Harvest Home resident Doris the chicken will be in attendance to meet folks at the sale! So please tell everyone you know to come on out, eat delicious food, and raise money for a good cause!
