Almost half of the people there presented on the issues that they are working on or projects that they'd like to do. I'm excited to hear about the results of some of the what comes of the event months down the road. I'm working on a recap of all of the speakers with their requests, but for now I just wanted to thank everyone for attending! We're going to be having another Showcase in May (we're thinking to do it every 3 months or so) and are looking for a few people who will help put it on. We are also looking for a new venue! Very inspiring to hear about what everyone's been up to and is interested in getting accomplished. I met a lot of new people and plan on attending the next showcase. Thanks a bunch to Nora and Jo for putting it on! I wish I had more time to help organize the next.
