Guest guest
Hey All, PCRM is currently trying to get more fresh fruits, fresh vegetables, legumes, whole grains, vegetarian foods and healthful nondairy beverages into the National School Lunch Program. To do this, we need letters of support from constituents of Congressman Miller's district (that's residents of Contra Costa & Solano Counties). His office needs to hear that people care about what students are being fed, and that junk food just isn't going to cut it anymore. We want more fruits, vegetables, vegan meals, and non-dairy beverages available to students. We have a meeting with Congressman Miller on Tuesday and I'd love to go in with an armful of letters of support from impressive constituents such as yourself. Since the meeting is happening so soon, it's imperative that I have the letters in hand by this Sunday, January 31st. If you know anyone who would be a good match, as well, I'd love to hear from them asap. I'm especially interested in people who work in education, as they understand how crucial this issue is. I'd love letters from members of the PTA, school district, parents, teachers, or principals. Thank you so much for taking the time to read this and pass it on to anyone who might be a good match.
