Guest guest
Next year, Green Corriander will offer brown rice basmati rice. (brown rice alert!) 2010 Price for veg/vegan meals are $9 to $11 depending on the portions. If customers make the same popular suggestions, smart business owner will respond quickly. Here's more ways to promote vegan foods: Please fill out a suggestion form for Berkeley Bowl to stock vegan cakes/items. I'm surprised they don't have any in their bakery case. Patricia the owner of Black China said, she has to TAKE BACK any of her unsold cakes. (that was told to her many years ago) Why can't " out-dated cakes " be picked up by homeless shelters? oh well. Also Berkeley Bowl sells fresh Veal Soup stock in the refrigerator section. I did not see any other Veal products in the store. (did I miss any Veal Sausages/products?) If you are a Berkeley shopper pls encourage them to stock as many vegan items as possible. == With my help and others, Amy's Organic Frozen foods will come out with more NEW VEGAN products. Please inform them what vegan items YOU WILL BUY from them. It would be great if Amy's can be an all vegan company. http://www.amyskitchen.com/about_us/contact.php If they make vegan products and sales are not good; they will hesitate to develop more vegan products. Vegan products have NO cholesteral WITH less calories than their regular veg products loaded cheese and eggs. .. .. and vegan products can be very tasty (if they can do low calorie vegan pizza, that would be great) I found a new way to prepare frozen pizzas. l. if possible thaw the pizza in room temperature (optional) 2. PAN fry the pizza in a cast iron pan, medium to low heat, so the crust becomes crunchy but not burnt (no oil necessary) 3. to melt the top of the pizza, you can microwave the rest of the pizza.... or broil the top of the pizza My Italian friend just loves the crunchy crust plus the above uses less energy than baking the pizza in a huge oven. (maybe a toaster oven can give you a crunchy crust) Amy's frozen vegan cakes however, are not as good as fresh Black China cakes. winnie , " sunny_outdoors " <sunny_outdoors wrote: > > Due to Holiday Travel, the $5 promotional price will end this week. > > This Tue, Wed and Thur, vegan dinners will be served. > containers for frequent customers. > > http://www.greencoriander.com/home/menu/ > > winnie > > > , Todd Klarin <toddklarin@> wrote: > > > > Just heard about this new takeout food service, recently launched. > > Menu this week is all vegetarian, and mostly vegan. > > > > http://www.greencoriander.com/home/menu/ > > > > For the month of December all meals are at a promotional price of *$5. > > > > * > > >
