New takeout food service, Green Coriander

Just heard about this new takeout food service, recently launched.Menu this week is all vegetarian, and mostly vegan.http://www.greencoriander.com/home/menu/

For the month of December all meals are at a promotional price of $5.Order your meal by completing the online order form before noon and

pick it up fresh in the evening from any of our pick up spots.Your boxed meal will be ready for pick-up between 6:30pm and 7:30pm at:1839 15th Street in the MissionorNatoma St (between 2nd and 1st street) near the Financial District/SOMA.

Due to Holiday Travel, the $5 promotional price will end this week.

 

This Tue, Wed and Thur, vegan dinners will be served.

 

Last Friday I had the Spinach paneer, she pretty much put the cheese aside so I

got the vegan version. Basically if you don't like Spinach paneer vegan or not,

don't order it. In the future she'll try to find a inexpensive source of

organic tofu to sub the cheese.

 

The meals come in compostable containers. The problem with those fancy

containers they sort of melt when you get them.

 

Organic ingrediants are used whenever possible. The portions might not be large

enough for big eaters. (that's what my male friend said)

 

In the future, she might consider using reusable metal carryout containers for

frequent customers.
