This documentary film following Frank Ferrante's 42-day vegan tryout premiered

at the Sausalito Film Festival this summer. I saw it last night at Cafe

Gratitude, San Rafael, when it was shown to SRO. The next showing is this

Saturday, November 28th: Flamingo Resort Hotel, 2777 4th Street, Santa Rosa (not

San Rafael!)at 4PM, followed by a band I can't recall. I think admission is only

for the music part.

Link with reviews (they haven't put up details of the Santa Rosa showing yet,

but I emailed them about it): www.mayibefrankmovie.com. CLICK ON THE PLATES IN

This film is inspiring, funny, poignant, introspective, and loving. Frank is all

of the above and a true star. I do not wish to ignite another debate about

losing weight; that was Frank's goal but never emphasized by his " coaches " .

Rather, the honest, inward journey that he took while nourishing/detoxing his

body with raw veggies is what was so beautiful about the film.

May We All Be Frank,

Donna
