Animal Lovers,

Please help stop this kind vet from losing his license.  He has personally

helped my and my friends' animals, sometimes for free.  He donates surgery

for rescued animals.  If he is closed down, it will mean the deaths of

hundreds, if not thousands of animals in the future because no one else I know has

been able or willing to donate so much time to healing animals.  It will

also end his life's work.

 

There is a protest in Sacramento this Thursday, Oct. 29.  Help us spread

the word in any way that you can.

Lauren Paul of North Star rescues sent this:

Dr. Galvin at The Veterinary Hospital of Ignacio is facing the loss of his

Veterinary License after a nearly decade long legal battle that was brought

back after a judge at the Superior Court of California already ruled in his

favor. Despite that, The Veterinary Board has continued to pursue a case

against him, and is set to close down Dr. Galvin's practice on November 6th,

2009.

 

Unless we can do something about it.

 

For years, I have written letters along with hundreds of other people

asking the Veterinary Board to drop the case and stop the witch hunt after Dr.

Galvin. All of these efforts have been in vain, and we are looking at losing

our most trusted vet. Dr. Galvin helped me start this rescue, without his

help I would have sunk under medical costs in my first year. He has saved

HUNDREDS of animals for us, and I trust him more than any other vet I have ever

worked with. We work with small animals, rabbits and rodents, and he values

their lives and their well being just as much as we do. I know many of the

people receiving this e-mail have Dr. Galvin to thank for saving their own
