Happy Bamboo vegan dinner in San Jose Tuesday 10/13/09 at 7pm

Hi folks,

Please join us for Bay Area Vegetarians' " Happy Bamboo dinner " in San Jose on Tuesday October 13, 2009 at 7pm. The Bay Area Vegetarians’ events calendar is not currently updated, but should be shortly, so please refer to it at www.bayareaveg.org

Happy Bamboo is located just off the 85 freeway at Camden (at Branham) in San Jose. Happy Bamboo's website:

The dinner is open to both veg*ns and non-veg*ns, but please note that, if you will be sitting with the group, only VEGAN food can be ordered. Happy Bamboo is very vegan-friendly, so that will not be difficult.

I would appreciate getting an exact count of who will be attending, so that the staff can be prepared to accommodate us. Please RSVP by 12 noon on the day of the dinner, replying to this email or on the events calendar when it is updated.

If it's possible, please try to carpool to the dinner. If you would like to offer a ride to others or are looking to carpool, you may reply to this message to let folks know, and then please make arrangements off-list.

Also, if you would like to bring home leftovers (though we never seem to have any) or order food to-go, please try to bring a re-usable container.
