in the outdoor benches near the entrance Gate

Fri, S, Sun

11-7pm

90% of entrees can be made veg or vegan

choice of meat can be avocado or catus

hold the cheese to make it vegan. Seems like every dish on Mexican cheese sprinkled on top of it.

average dish/small entrees are $3 to $5

The prices are inexpensive, to me it's like eating tapas.

I asked for avocado topping, and they offered to me for free on EACH of my entrees.

(Not very business sense)

I verifed by asking the workers and even calling the owner that their delicous $3 tamales

don't have chicken broth. (can someone verify it's totally vegan? without the cheese)

I already informed the owner that the Gorditas $4 were horrible. The fried tortilla used for this dish is a small 4 inch disk fried in oil. It was oily and had a slight bitter taste.

Overall, it's worth going to get a taste of the 7 other entrees.

it's actually his home number, cause he answered at night at 9pm.

they also do catering

Luis was very nice, even though he has limited English he listened to my suggestions.

He's one of few graduates that graduated from La Cocina kitchen, which is a non profit helping disadvantage people start their own business/commercial kitchen by teaching them business and restaurant skills. The La Cocina has the state of the art COMMERCIAL kitchen which lets people legally make and sell food.

Be aware, another La Cocina graduate was also selling veg tamales, .....I had to hunt her down in the kitchen to verify that her "veg" tamales had chicken stock in it.
