Guest guest
Hello BAV!The most excellent and fabulous Maggie Mudd donated another 450 cups of luscious vegan ice cream this past weekend. This time we chose the Lake Merritt Farmer's Market for the location. It was amazing! We had a line of people waiting for free ice cream, and they all left with a Vegetarian Starter Kit, Maggie Mudd coupon, and " What's Wrong With Dairy " leaflet along with their treat. We heard so many positive comments. " Is this really vegan? WOW. " " Can I have two Veg Starter Kits? My Mom keeps talking about going veg. " " Oh, I already got the ice cream, thanks! It was delicious. I came back for more of the leaflets. " " Where I can get Maggie Mudd ice cream? I didn't know vegans could eat this sort of stuff and I want some! " " I know I should eat more vegan food, I've been trying to lose weight for a year and it's not working. I just don't know how to do it. I can't believe this is vegan. Can I have 2 more coupons? " " They do WHAT to the mother cows? I had no idea. I thought I could eat milk and eggs without hurting animals. " The next time you're shopping for vegan ice cream, please make sure and buy locally-owned Maggie Mudd. They are a great supporter of our community. It's sold in Rainbow and Whole Foods and it's called " Freestyle: " http://www.maggiemudd.com/freestyle/index.aspAnd don't forget you can order a totally vegan ice cream cake with a photo on it! Chocolate brownie bottom, 2 or 3 layers of ice cream, and vegan whipped cream frosting. It's out of control. Anytime I'm going to a non-vegan dinner party, I bring a vegan Maggie Mudd cake b/c because everyone swoons over it. Last but not least, if you visit Maggi Mudd's store, you can get a vegan banana split. Seriously.http://www.bayareaveg.org/ug/display.htm?id=126 Thanks and have a sweet week!Alex
