Guest guest
on mine, I like broccoli, corn, bell peppers, onions, and olives ... For me, it's just as easy to assemble an extra pizza (using the Vicolo's crust), put it in the freezer (uncooked) and then I have the equivalent of my own frozen pizza. And, for the same reason you alluded to with liquid, I tend to not use fresh tomatoes .. http://www.generationv.org/easy-vegan-pizza I'm told it's quite easy to make a vegan ricotta from tofu (in lieu of a vegan cheese) but have yet to try it. > I ordered a cheese-free Indian pizza from Zante's instead I had a bad experience a few years ago with Zante's regarding whether the crust was really vegan. I'm curious, has this changed? Do they consistently say the crust is vegan now? Basically, my experience was staff said pizza was vegan. Then I was tipped off by other vegans (from this list) that the crust had dairy. I asked staff again, and got inconsistent answers. In the end, they told me they had two different crusts, one for the vegan pizza and one for the other pizzas. Note - this was a few years back, so would be good to know if this has changed. http://www.bayareaveg.org/ug/display.htm?id=530 Cheers, Tammy My two cents, vegan-style .. - today or read it on GenerationV.org
