Daiya cheese *should* be at Rainbow next week.

Good News! I forwarded Joelle's message to a friend at Rainbow. She sent it on

to Gordon the cheese supplier, and here's what he wrote back:

 

" I've been trying to order Daiya for almost a year now, but so far it is only

being distributed up here in food service sized packages from a distributor that

we do not currently deal with and who has a $1000/week minimum. That's a lot of

Daiya!

 

" However, I have talked them into selling it to me on a will call basis. They

are out of product right now, but the delivery comes in early next week and we

*should* have it in stock by Wednesday. Please call before making a special

trip though, these things have a habit of going wrong.

 

" We will be selling it in 16 oz tubs but I do not know the price yet. "

 

SO ... it looks like Rainbow is finally going to start stocking DAIYA cheese!!!!

If you see Gordon at Rainbow, please thank him for working so hard to get this

product on the shelves!
