Is there anything better than Maggie Mudd vegan ice cream?

I don't think so. Maggie Mudd donated 450 cups of vegan ice cream this past weekend. Four of us handed them out with Vegetarian Starter Kits and " What's Wrong With Dairy " leaflets at the Ferry Building. 450 flew out of our hands in less than an hour!! It was soooo fun, and so successful. Comments:

" This is dairy-free? Cool, I've been wanting to try dairy-free but didn't know where to find it! " " No thanks, I don't do milk. What? This is SOY ice cream? Wow! Thanks! "

" This is the best ice cream I've ever had and I'm not vegan. " " I had no idea you could eat stuff like this and be vegan. " " Can I have another Vegetarian pamphlet? My co-worker has been talking about trying veganism, and she'll love this! "

" Oh. My. God. Where can I buy this stuff? " " Are you serious? They turn the baby calves into veal calves? I never knew that. " Photos on Facebook. Be sure and do your vegan duty and get some Maggie Mudd's soon, and share it with your non-vegan friends! Remember: They deliver their vegan ice cream cakes all over the Bay Area.
