Another issue for tonight's AWC meeting

Following up on Prop. 2, here is another issue (No. 7 on the agenda) to

be discussed at tonight's meeting. Here's your chance to make your

opinions known on this issue too! Meeting starts at 5:30 PM, Thursday,

August 13, 2009, Room 408, City Hall, 1 Dr. Carlton B. Goodlett Place,

San Francisco, CA 94102-4689. This issue will probably not be discussed

until after 7 o'clock or so, because it is No. 7; however, the

commission sometimes changes the order of issues and it could come up

for discussion as early as 6 o'clock. So be there if you care! Thank

A) Discussion and possible action to recommend to the Board of

Supervisors that they encourage all San Francisco restaurants and

retailers not to sell eggs from birds kept confined in " battery " cages,

cages so small the animals cannot turn around in them.
