If someone you care about suffers from high cholesterol, you may want to let them know that Kaiser Permanente recently published the results of a 45-year-long study showing they are at far greater risk of developing Alzheimer's disease and other forms of dementia than people with lower cholesterol. Be sure to also let them know that going vegan is the best and healthiest way to lower cholesterol levels because — unlike meat, dairy and eggs — all plant-based foods are 100% cholesterol-free.
