Guest guest
MY CAT, OLIVE or... BLUEBERRY & PISTACCIO Hello, fellow animal-friendly people Just a brief bit about me. I have been a vegan for over 13 years now and am an avid animal rights activist (and armchair activist). I am currently a forensic social worker for the Brooklyn DA'S office, but after 6 years out on the East Coast I will be relocating to the Bay Area (on Aug. 25th)! I have an unusual situation on my hands and would like to throw this out to the community. I have a friend in S.F. whom is allowing me to stay with her for a couple of months while I job search. She has one cat and has told me that I can have two of my cats stay there while I conduct my job search. Here's the catch! I have a third cat, named Olive. I would prefer for her to be with me, but my friend can only house two cats. So, I either take Olive and have someone temporarily babysit the two sisters, or I take the sisters and have someone babysit Olive. I am looking for someone who would be interested in temporarily babysitting, in exchange for money/bartering of services (i.e. in lieu of money, I could also babysit, dog walk, dog sit, house sit for you in exchange for your assistance). Obviously, I would pay for food and litter and all other expenses. NOW, If I find a job right away, I'll move into my new place immediately, and this will all be moot. SCOOP ON CATS ---- In all honesty, Olive is a loner cat---- and finds it difficult to play with others. She is just now warming up to my other two cats, Blueberry and Pistachio.....after about a year! She has a feisty temperament, but can warm up to you if you pet her under her chin! Blueberry and Pistaccio are a year old and are sisters. They are very bonded, have completely sweet temperaments, get along with dogs and are very affectionate. Please let me know if you would be interested.......or know of anyone who would be able to assist. I can send pictures and more information..... Thank you, Hava Dennenberg 619-838-4889
