check out the links for the descriptions. i hardly feel i can do either justice with a summary here.

however, i will say both would shed some light on the recent discussions on this email forum regarding Food, Inc./Earthlings and so called "one-track activism."

 

both Bob and Gary are professors in their respective fields, and both books offer perspectives from those on the front line of "one-track activism"... or abolitionism as it's generally referred to.
