One More Thought on Breeding

I have read most but not all of the posts on the breeding thread. Forgive me if

someone has already mentioned this.

 

Apart from all of the resources bringing more children into the world uses, it

also tends to take up the majority of parents' energy and time making it

difficult for them to do other useful things in the world, like be an activist,

for example. The world really needs our time and energy and there are plenty of

messes we've made that need cleaning up. If you have a child, that's pretty much

your focus, as well it should be. But it's taking away from other useful things

you could be doing. (And, yes, I do realize that some parents are also wonderful

activists, but, in general, I believe my comment to be true).
