URGENT: phone calls needed Wed & Thurs to save animals in CA

Please do not delay on this action: please read this email, make 5 very quick, polite phone calls and then forward this email to everyone you know who cares about animals. Your action could mean the difference between life and death for thousands and thousands of stray and lost animals who end up in CA shelters, so please pass this on! Thank you. UPDATED INFORMATION as of 6/23/094 -- important numbers to call THIS WEEK!!!!!!!

I was told today (6/23) by an assistant to an Assemblyman that I should get this email out today, that there might be a budget vote end of this week!

Call and say you " Strongly oppose suspending the animal adoption mandate " and make sure and say you are a constituent (if you are)! Don't let them reduce the time an animal is held at the shelter from 6 days to 3 days. The Hayden Bill says that an animal must be kept for six days -- don't let that law be changed. The animals need our help. Please call today!!!!!!!
