Guest guest
The End of the Line, a world class documentary about the devastating effect of overfishing on global oceans, is making its theatrical release in SF. The film premiered at the Sundance Film Festival in January and its 3-day San Francisco run will begin this Sunday at the the Red Vic Movie House. The film, which is narrated by Oceana Board member Ted Danson, examines the imminent extinction of bluefin tuna, brought on by increasing western demand for sushi; the impact on marine life resulting in huge overpopulation of jellyfish; and the profound implications of a future world with no fish that would bring certain mass starvation. Please pass this on and encourage everyone to attend and 'hopefully' open their eyes...
