I think to Grass Valley is like a 5 hour drive so you need some sort of overnight accommodations if you are coming from the Bay ARea. The temperature can reach 100 degrees during the day and at night it can be pretty cold.. so camping MIGHT or might not be an option Anybody have any ideas? (When I was at Grass Valley, I stayed at a Veggie Buddhist Temple/Housing...with vegan friend, Shanti from Shanti woods inc.)
