Guest guest Posted May 13, 2009 Report Share Posted May 13, 2009 Hello all!I'm writing to give a heads up that I will be launching a 5-day-long pilot program of a summer camp for young people who are interested in activism and social change. The camp will be vegan, though that's not the focus of it. (We will of course be talking about *why* we're eating vegan!) It will be in the beautiful Santa Cruz mountains from August 17-21. Our website isn't final yet so I'll send that in the next week or so for people to begin to consider it for their kids (we're targeting youth ages 11-15) and to forward to others. In the meantime, I wanted to mention it because we will be looking for a cook! There are also many needs we have at this stage (technical, legal, administrative, fundraising, you name it). If you are interested in being involved in any way or finding out more, please email me your interests as well as either a resume or even just a short bio describing your past relevant experience and interests.
