Hello Everyone,

Last Tuesday was the preliminary hearing for Glynn Damon Johnson, Asst. Fire Chief for L.A. County, for the vicious torture of his neighbor's 6 month old German Shepard puppy.  The attack occurred near his home in Riverside.

Johnson is charged with one count of felony animal cruelty.  He is claiming self-defense (!), but witnesses say that Karley never acted aggressively at all.  Also, you have to be physically strong to be a firefighter and Karley was a 6 month old puppy.  When you see the pictures you will see how absurd this defense is.

The details are horrifying and he attacked Karley so badly that she had to be euthanized.  His wife supports his claim of self-defense and says he only hit Karley 3 times and only with his hand.

The pictures tell a tragically different story as do the witnesses and the extent of maiming that Karley suffered.

Asst. Fire Chief is, obviously, a position of great respect and authority.  It is almost more heart-breaking then, that people may continue to look up to this sadist.

Please let the D.A.'s office know that you would like the strongest possible penalty for Johnson if he is found guilty of felony animal cruelty.  Please let them know that Californians view this crime with the utmost seriousness and you may want to remind him that people capable of such callous torture are not likely to confine their violence to puppies.

Thanks for helping to get justice for Karley.
