Circus Vazquez is using elephants, tigers, horses, camels and other animals. See below for additional information.  The location of this event is in the dirt lot on the West side of Hwy 880 at the 66th Street exit. If you have any questions please call 650.248.4489.  Please let me know if you can join us this Friday at 4p and over the weekend. The schedule for the next two weeks is: Opening Night Friday April 24 Leafleting@ 4p & 7p (show times 5p, 8p) Friday, May 1 & 8 Leafleting@ 6:30p Saturday and Sunday Leafletings @ 3:30p & 7p (show times 2p, 5p, 8p) Monday thru Thursday Leafletings @ 6p (show time 7p)  Background on Animals Exploited by Circus Vazquez Vazquez is the circus that, last year, was responsible for a tiger being mauled to death after cramming six tigers in one, small cage.  Circus Vazquez now uses Hanneford elephants - the same elephants who were used last year by UniverSoul.  All elephants are, of course, treated horribly in circuses and Hanneford is no exception. In 2005 AR folks in FL got them kicked out of a gig they had for 15 years at Fort Lauderdale's Swap shop flea market. The Hanneford Family Circus' three elephants— " Carol, " " Liz " and " Patty " — are now traveling with Vazquez Circus. During an inspection by the U.S. Department of Agriculture, a veterinarian noted, " problems with foot conditions, of all three elephants. " In 1990, Carol crushed a circus worker to death. I hope you can join us - please let me know if you have any questions.
