Dear Bay Area veg*ns,

I'm interested in making my own soymilk and trying my hand at making

tofu at home. I searched the group's archives and found some makers

mentioned over the years. Recently I saw a print ad for Soybella.

Altogether, the following appear to be available:

* SoyQuick (www.soymilkquick.com)

* SoyToy (www.soytoy.com)

* SoyaJoy (www.soymilkmaker.com)

* Soybella

Do you have any first-hand experience with any of these or any other

soymilk makers?

If so, I'd like to know which one(s) you found easy to use, fast to

make milk, easy to clean, flexible for other uses (such as making nut

milks), sturdy (not likely to break, long-lived), small on the

countertop, and a good value. Basically I'd like to know which one you

like best. Please be specific: any information about how often you

use(d) it; how many months it (has) lasted; whether any parts are

dishwasher-safe; when you bought it, for how much, from where;

specific features you find very useful or very annoying; etc.; will be

greatly appreciated. I will summarize results for the group, if

desired.

Thank you for your time and attention,
