Guest guest
Café Gratitude on 9th Ave. in San Francisco will close as early as May 1st. The location has not been making money, their lease is up on 5/1, and the landlord wanted them to sign a 20 year lease. If another tenant does not rent the place, they'll stay open for business on a month to month basis. I've already made a reservation for a group in mid-June but they may be closed. Their other locations will remain open but the 9th Ave. site is my favorite. If you like this restaurant, please comment on their web page, call them, dine there before the end of this month, and let them know you'd like them to remain open. Our waitperson indicated a clamor might work to keep them open. Thanks.
