I'm forwarding this email not as a PETA member or supporter, but as a

supporter of the baby harp seals who are being, and will be, slaughtered

in the next few weeks in Canada. Many other organizations have been

working on this campaign as well, including HSUS, HSI, IDA and IFAW.

 

Please come to this demo to help spread the word to the public about

this horrendous massacre, and to let the Canadian government know we

will NOT be silent.

 

580 California is near the corner of California & Kearny Streets, near

the Financial District and Chinatown.

Canada: the Whole World is Watching

 

Dear Nadine,

 

Please join PETA for a demonstration to speak up for the hundreds of

thousands of baby harp seals who will be mercilessly slaughtered in the

next few weeks on the ice floes off Newfoundland and Labrador in Canada.

Donning all white and covered in " blood, " PETA activists will writhe on

the ground to mimic the baby seals who will be slaughtered during the

massacre. Join PETA members to hold signs and pass out leaflets to

inform everyone of the cruelty behind this barbaric slaughter.

 

Posters and leaflets will be provided, so just bring yourself and anyone

you can recruit to join you. Please contact Sarah Gawricki at

SarahG or 757-962-8397 to RSVP or for more information. When

replying, do not forget to mention the demonstration that you wish to

attend. Please dress professionally and remember to remain polite and

upbeat throughout the demonstration. In addition, please e-mail me ASAP

if you are interested in being one of PETA's " bloody seals " for this

demonstration-there will be no nudity involved, and minimal activity

will be required.
