Guest guest
I plan on attending this, especially after reading the article on Incanto's website! I'd like to protest at Ti Couz in The Castro sometime also, as I'm interested in reaching out to my LGBT community to increase its awareness of compassion for others. We are staging our first foie gras protest on Saturday, March 28th at 6:30pm at Incanto restaurant in San Francisco (1150 Church Street at Duncan in Noe Valley). We need numbers to make this protest effective & gain media attention, so I hope that you can all spare an hour or two for this worthy cause. Recently, the chef of Incanto decided to rant about foie gras on his website, and it was picked up by two news outlets. See here<http://www.incanto.biz/letters_-_shock_and_foie.html> for his rant and then here<http://www.eatmedaily.com/2009/03/anti-foie-gras-protesters-threaten-chris-\ cosentino/> and here<http://dinersjournal.blogs.nytimes.com/2009/03/09/foie-gras-coke-and-a-big-\ tip/> for the news coverage. Calls are needed to let the restaurant know the chef's views on foie gras are not acceptable or commonplace. Please call them at 415-641-4500. I hope to see everyone on the 28th!
