Hi folks,Got this heads-up from Pam that I wanted to pass along for our anyone who wants to support Oakland's animals while enjoying vegan desserts

Friends of the Oakland Animal Shelter will be hosting its 2009 “FUN”-Raiser for Oakland’s AnimalsThis event will be Saturday, March 14, 2009, 7pm to 10pm at the Uptown Center, 401-26th street, between Broadway and Telegraph. The suggested donation is $25.00.There will be live band, drinks, a vegan dessert table, and a silent auction. Limited parking is available at the First Presbyterian Church of Oakland (2919 Broadway).All proceeds go to benefit FOAS and animals like Baby Chloe
