Marin Letter Writing Party to help get Vegan options into the NSLP!

Hello SF Bay Veggers in Marin and Sonoma Counties!

 

I'm organizing a letter writing party for Monday, March 2nd at 7 pm at Mill Valley Peet's (88 Throckmorton Ave). We're going to write letters to Congresswoman Lynn Woolsey to ask her to put vegan options and non dairy milk into the National School Lunch Program. You can read more about it here: http://www.healthyschoollunches.org/ Woolsey sits on a key congressional committee that will be voting on making changes to the Child Nutrition Act this year. We need big support from her constituents to help make this happen! Every letter honestly helps!
