Latest update in my attempts to use alternatives to dissection

Hi group,

 

I have attempting to get my professor to let me use alternative materials to

dissection

dissection for his upcomming course. He is unwilling to consider them, so I

contacted the

chair of the Biology department. He told me he supports the professor and that

letting

the professor be in charge of the course and how the class is taught is a

tradition that the

college is proud of. So I contacted the Dean and pleaded my case to him stating

that I

want to take this course and study Biology, the study of life but I dont like

that so much

life is killed to pursue this degree. I dont want to pay lab fees and purchase

books that

promote killing. I wish my school would get with the times, we have a black

president

now for gosh sakes!
