PLEASE FORWARD AND REPOST WIDELY Attention Animal-Lovers in San Francisco : On Tuesday, 1/20/09, the bay-area radio station 105.3 (105 LIVE) will be CRUELY EXPLOITING FARM ANIMALS. According to their website, http://www.live105.com/: “Tuesday Morning: Tony (dressed in a chicken suit) will be chasing and trying to catch two chickens in the LIVE 105 studio! Plus The Woody Show

wants to find out if chickens will eat....chicken.” Let’s tell the producers of this show that this type of outlandish exploitative behavior is neither funny nor tolerable. Call the producers of LIVE 105 at (415) 478-5483 and kindly tell them that this is no way to treat animals.

Here's what I sent them...TonyaDear Woody:

I hope I heard wrong about plans to chase and capture live chickens on your show tomorrow.

Were you one of those voters that tried to defeat Prop 2? If you were,

this wouldn't be a surprise, but if you weren't, then don't be a jerk

and torture frightened chickens by chasing them around the studio. Get

creative and find some other way to have fun. You could do a Brazilian

wax on the air, have an habanero eating contest (no water or bread

allowed) or you could invite some students from a local school of

acupuncture to give you a free (practice) session while we listen.

I didn't want to leave you high and dry with no alternatives in case you decided to ditch your chicken-bating party tomorrow.
