Farewell to Cincinnati Freedom

Here is the story of Cincinnati Freedom, the cow who escaped from a

slaughterhouse and lived out her life at Farm Sanctuary in New York.

 

Altho she lived only six more years, she was able to live those years

in safety and peace in the company of friends, unlike most " beef cows "

who are slaughtered at an early age.

 

Every day, beautiful animals like her are callously killed so that

Americans can eat the meat-based diet that leads to heart disease,

cancer and stroke.

 

I sent this link to many people I know who still eat meat. Who knows

what might nudge them into a change.
